Hey Truckies,
We're live bloggin from the McNabs Island 25th Anniversary Picnic in the middle of Halifax Harbour.

We can't bring the food truck here, but we brought lots of supplies to cook up a special treat for the crowd.
We set up our campfire right here by the lighthouse. And we have a improvised oven to make the super yummy dish for everyone; "Rustic Creole Pizza."
The beautiful days are coming to an end
The leaves of the trees will soon begin to turn.
One the eve of our departure, each to his own way.
This is the life of the migrators.
C' est ca la vie des migrateurs.

May the wind blow beneath your wings,
A north wind to carry you to Louisiane.
I will always be faithful
And I hope to see you one fine day.

We are all traveling on the same voyage,
But each of us follows his own path.
I will see you in the spring, be well until then,
And think of the pleasure of seeing each other again.

I hear the call of the grand voyage.
I will throw myself into the sky again.
May your journey bring you back to me,
I have so much pleasure with you,
So much pleasure with you.

Let's do this...

Rustic Creole Pizza

Toss sine organic butter into a fry pan and do the Trinity.
Cook up some hot Italian Sausage and cut into slices.
Slice up a plum tomato.
Layer the flat bread...
First, the Trinity.
Then Goat Cheese.
Add the sausage and tomato.
Bake at 400 for 3 or 4 minutes.

D got us some great wine from Muir Murray Winery.

And D set up our delightful dessert; strawberries and chocolate!

Ari " You know D, this campfire makes me think about you and I; and all of us on this adventure.
