Hey Truckies,
We're live bloggin from the Halifax Jazz Festival. What a night.

The joint is jumping and our food truck is along for the ride.
So our Food Truck artists have cooked up something jazzy for the wonderful crowd here at the Jazzfest.

We got inspired by a recipe from the great Louis Armstrong. When he wasn't blowing the best horn on earth, he loved to dine and cook.

One of his favs was the traditional Rice and Beans from his home in New Orleans.

Just for a extra touch, we added our own, homemade Tubular Beef Jerky.

So here we go...
Let's do this, hipsters

Kidney Beans
Salt Pork
Small can of Tomato Sauce
A couple onions, diced.
Half a green pepper.
Some hots like crushed red pepper or dried peppers.
Clove of Garlic, chopped.
Salt to taste.

Prepare the beans overnight.
Add fresh water and throw in the stuff.
Cook 3 hours.
Add tomato sauce.
