We're here in the middle of the Bay of Fundy on beautiful Grand Manan Island.

The lovely people of Grand Manan wrote "the book" on Dulse.

But we wrote "the book" on hot dogs!  Let's get this parta started.

What a view! We hitched up our brand new Top Dog Cart and we're ready to cook up some great dogs.

Detroit Style Hot Dogs

Easy as pie, let's do this.

Get the dogs of your choice. If you like healthy, do healthy. We prefer "New England" buns which are sliced on the top instead of the side. Works betta.

Make some chili. The trick is to keep it thick. You don't want it to trash the dogs.

We used burger, not steak. No beans.

Crushed tomatoes in thick sauce.

Chili powder.

Cumin.

Smoked Paprika

Diced Red Onion.

Brown burger in a separate and remove the grease before adding to the pot.

Cover, let it brew for an afternoon on "warm."

Plate it.

Add the chili, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped yellow onions.

Now, what should we have for dessert?
