1937 was a damn good year for Oysters!
And that was the year that my grandpa took over the Bayou Pom Pom.

Later on, he had a brainstorm.

“Don’t bring people to the Oysters, bring the Oysters to the people.”

And Ds Lunch Wagon was born!

After the big storm, we took everything and moved North.

And we found a cozy spot to set up the wagon.

It was renamed “D’s Diner.”

Not much has changed over the years.

We still serve the freshest breakfast in town.

And of course, the Oysters!
