Best art gig ever!
Hey Truckies...

We're here at Halifax Harbour.

We parked the truck right next to the Tall Ship Silva where Ari had an art show in 2009 cruising around the harbour all day.

The waterfront is buzzing with thousands of people attending the annual "Busker Festival."

So, we're cooking up something special for everyone here at Cable Wharf.

Let's do this!
Tall Ship French Lobster Quesadillas with Lime Cilantro Rice

Crepe batter:

1 cup flour, sifted
1 cup milk
Water as needed to reach proper consistency.
2 eggs.
or
Just flour and water.
Too thick and you get pancakes. (Crepes used to be called French Pancakes)

Whisk it all together and let it rest for a while.

We took some orange "Clementine" juice and marinated the Lobstah.

Then on "Warm" melt a big glob of Plugra (Preferred by leading chefs)

Add the Lobstah and keep it just on the Warm setting.

Get the rice rocking; add Lime Juice and Cilantro when ready.

We use a non-stick Crepe pan. We set the temp at 375.

Do a test of the batter first.

Then do the Crepe. Add the Lobster.

Flip it or whatever way you like.

A nice fruity salad.

And some Pinot Noir is perfect for this mix.

Thar you be, Matey!
