We're live bloggin from the Pier 21 Museum in Halifax and we have an amazing Food Truck Nova Scotia classic special recipe that we are serving up to the wonderful staff and visitors.

And we have set up a super groovy exhibit of Ari's artwork in the cute little plaza.

Beer Battered Fish and Chips

We don't deep fry on our food truck, we prefer to bake...

Beer Batter:

2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1 Bottle Alexander Keith's Beer
Water as needed.

In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and mix.
Make a well in the center of the bowl and add beer.
Mix gently until batter is wet, but not lumpy.
Add water if mixture is too thick.

Dredge fish, one piece at a time in flour. Shake off excess and place fish in the Beer Batter.

Bake fish at 375. Flip over to the other side half way through the process.
